Accountant
RESPONSIBILITIES
-
Comply with all day-to-day internal financial policies, government regulations, accounting requirements and other restrictions applying to Jeevan Aadhar.

Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports as required.

Assisting staff in maintaining proper supporting documentation and complying with internal financial policies.

Assist in Monthly closing of financial packet.
-
Take an active part in Auditing.
-
Maintaining Books of Accounts in Tally software.
-
Maintain petty cash.
-
Reconcile all expense reports and cash advances.
-
Ensure prompt payment to vendors.
-
Ensure that spending is in accordance with the limit set for expenses and advance with good stewardship.
-
Maintain cash flow in all accounts.
-
Assist in the preparation of the annual budget & forecasting.
-
Prepare actuals against monthly budgets to track financial performance.
-
Ensure that all appropriate taxes are paid promptly.
-
Maintain confidentiality of privileged and sensitive information.
-
Travel from time to time for training and other work as required.
-
Carry out additional assignments as required by the Operations Manager or CEO.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
-
Bachelor's degree in commerce with min 3 years work experience.
-
Working knowledge and understanding of Tally software and principles of accounting & bookkeeping.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite Software, Email, Windows and Tally.
-
Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English and Hindi.
